It's difficult to find this Lavender in my country so I was delighted to buy it on Fragance Direct. Yardley is the best Lavender for everybody at any age in all four seasons. It shall be a recurrent buy because it has a price for value. P&P of Fragance impeccable.

I recently purchased some bottles of Yardley English Lavender from Fragrance Direct who, as usual, delivered promptly and everything was in good order, packed well etc. However, I was very disappointed with the product and it seemed to me that Yardley have significantly changed this fragrance and not for the better. The smell is different; it does not smell like English Lavender, and it seems a much weaker scent with reduced staying power. I have used it for many years, but I will not be buying it again.

Excellent value and quick delivery - quality product

English Lavender water was a traditional Victorian gentleman's eau de toilette. I find it light, beautifully fragrant and has a fresh, crisp lingering presence. Yardley's Lavender water has a long and proud tradition, and I'm so pleased I have bought this current product. Overall, lavender water comes and goes in fashion, and perhaps these days is perceived to be rather feminine. It's currently out of vogue and difficult to find. So I'm thrilled to have found Yardley's still producing a lavender water product, I bought it, love it and will continue to buy it when other brands bring it back to fashion. The current product has, of course, been reformulated with the addition of other fragrances, perhaps clary sage ( not quite the garden culinary sage we know) and bergamot, being slightly to the fore, but not overcoming the lavender. It's a lovely balance. My only complaint ? It's still targetted as a feminine product. It's a great light fragrance for any man that doesn't want an 'in your face' overpowering odour.
