Described as a "sharp, flowery" fragrance, Gres Cabotine eau de toilette spray for women opens with top notes blackcurrant buds, pear, plum and coriander, flowing into a heart of rose, tuberose, ylang-ylang, ginger lily, hyacinth, heliotrope, freesia, violet and iris, atop a smooth base of cedarwood, vanilla, Tonka bean, cybet, musk and amber.
Germaine Emilie Krebs, aka "Madame Gres", launched her haute couture fashion house Gres in Paris in 1942. Although the fashion house no longer in production, the associated fragrance line, Parfums Gres is still producing new scents. The first (and most famous) fragrance to be released under the Parfums Gres line was Cabochard, launched in 1959, and the Parfums Gres fragrance line has since been expanded.

I love this scent and bottle. Reminder of my young self. It’s not easy to get hold of now. Never available through major retailers so I was happy Fragrance Direct had it. Would definitely use them again.

I bought this as it was recommended as smelling similar to Tendre Poison which was discontinued a long time ago. Perfume is so personal and I think this perfume smells absolutely lovely, the price was brilliant and it's my new favourite perfume. My mum doesn't like it but then she never liked Tendre Poison either.
