I hate to write critical reviews. I truly hate it. The product was precisely what I ordered and it arrived in a really timely manner--which isn't always the case when a product is shipped across the pond. The problem is with the product itself. Other than the fact that the soap is hard-milled, it smells nothing like English Lavender. Yardleys needs to cease playing with ingredients to "improve" their product. Many other scents are present in this soap that overwhelm the exquisite lavender scent I've adored since I was a teenager, many moons ago. My mother used the same scent all her life as did generations before her. Please return the scent to what is expected from Yardleys, and has been adored by women for such a long time. My husband even likes it, and he's hard to please! The order I made a couple of years ago smelled nothing like this. Again, I'm sorry I have to criticize this product, but needless to say, I'm disappointed.

This soap from grandma's time smells like än English Summer garden. Delicious and a pleasure to use.
