A Blast from the Past,Today.

I don't use it - I didn't like it. Too woody for my liking.

I was first given this as a teenager, nearly thirty years ago! It is still my favourite. I dig it out in the winter, but I know that some think of it as a summer fragrance. It is so versatile, it could be whatever you need it to be, at the time and occasion of your choosing. Fidji is a well-blended green floral, with jasmine, carnation, spicy tones and softening to woody notes. A surprising soapy note springs up in the opening phase - not harsh, it is more like a balsamic, sexy-soap note. Its magic is hard to describe and is one of Fidji's defining attributes. My only complaint is that the bath line is next to impossible to get hold of in the UK (unless anyone knows any better). The EDP is beautiful, with deepened characteristics, but again difficult to get hold of. If you do want to layer up, however, I find Nina Ricci's L'Air du Temps bath line works well with this, as apparently Fidji was styled after L'Air du Temps. Fidji is not expensive and you get a lot for what you pay, in terms of beauty and quality. Enough of the sugary stuff out there, this is the one to go for.

It is always difficult to track down but it is worth it. Many perfumes give me a headeache so the search for a new perfume is promblematic. I have been using Fidgi for many, many years (not every day) but for any special occasion.

I purchased this for my mum. Having tried everywhere to buy it I was pleased to find the product at a very competitive rate. An old perfume much loved by my mum. Many thanks.
