Been using L'Homme de Lanvin for years. For a while I've suspected a diminution in strength measured by it's staying power. With this purchase I set up my own little experiment. The perfume was almost undetectable in less than an hour. Fragrance direct were excellent at dealing with my disappointment: easily accessible by phone, reimbursing within 3 days. I confidently placed my follow-up order with them. All dealt with very amicably and efficiently. Disappointed but satisfied customer!

I was looking for Lanvin Arpege for men, which is my favourite. I couldn't find it. Perhaps it is discontinued. Thought this looked a lot like it. It's different but has a nice fragrance. Still prefer the other one.

Lanvin has been one of my preferred fragrances since 2001, It's very hard to come by in Ireland, have only ever seen it in 1-2 pharmacies country wide and none of the Fragrance shops stock it. It is a really subtle yet fresh fragrance, I have only ever been complemented using it.

I've always liked this fragrance. I bought three 100ml bottles a while back from FragranceX and realised that the last of those really had no fragrance at all. So I bought another three and the strength of fragrance is still not as strong as I would like or as I remember. A real shame as this is my favourite.
