In the heart, water lily creates the aquatic facet of L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme, balanced by warm spicy notes. Tobacco, vetiver, and sandalwood channel an energy which evokes that of a powerful waterfall, making the fragrance assertive and masculine.
The iconic bottle of L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme has transcended time as well. Inspired by waterfalls as well, the slender, contemporary glass widens at the base and stands in contrast with the light grey hood.
What was the inspiration behind L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme?
The perfumer, Jacques Cavalier, was inspired by traditional Japanese baths and the smell of yuzu, a citrus typical to Japan.
To use: Warmth intensifies fragrance. Apply it to your body’s warmest points, such as the creases of your elbows and wrists for more strength and longevity. Avoid rubbing or dabbing after application, as this can break down the fragrance. For wrist application, apply the fragrance after hand washing which can rinse off the scent.
