Described as a sweet and elegant perfume, Lancome La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum Spray for women opens with top notes of iris, blending with a heart of patchouli accords, all of which is smoothly rounded off with a base of gourmand.
Lancome was founded in France in 1935 by Armand Petitjean, who took inspiration for the name of the brand from the ruins of the Le Chateau de Lancosme castle in the heart of the country. Lancome presented its first perfumes at the Worlds Fair in Brussels in the same year, and Lancome soon began manufacturing cosmetics and skin care products, but the perfumes upon which Lancome made its name remain the cornerstone of the brand.

I was given this fragrance as a birthday gift. Beautiful soft fragrance - I loved it so much that I ordered another bottle. La vie est Belle translates to Life is Beautiful - so is the perfume.

I bought this for my daughters 18th Birthday. She usually wears a stronger scent like opium but loves the freshness/flowery aroma of this. She finds she can wear it both during the day and for nights out. It has a long lasting scent.
