Before I wet the sponge when using for first time I soak sponge in baby oil (or any oil) then run it under cold tap, with kitchen roll give sponge a good squeeze and away you go. It’s not wet or greasy once in the make up and ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR DRY SKIN
