Born in Italy in 1930, Nino Cerruti became head of the family textiles business after his father's untimely death in the 50s. Using his experience of producing top-quality fabrics, Nino decided to branch out into the clothing market. Nino Cerruti also produces a range of men's and women's fragrances, many of which incorporate the number 1881 into the title; the year in which Nino's grandfather established the family textile mill in Italy.
