You’ve heard of the brand, but did you know the makeup and skincare brand shares the name of its founder? Charlotte has been interested in makeup since she was a girl growing up between London and Ibiza (dream!), meeting artists and creatives through her painter father. She went on to train at the Glauca Rossi School of Makeup, working as a MUA throughout the influential 90s.

Sam and Nicola Chapman launched the first Real Techniques brush collection in 2011, but their story started years earlier. The British sisters grew up surrounded by makeup, with their aunt working as a top MUA in London and their mum also interested in following the latest trends.

After several years of hustle, training and working in the industry, the pair set up their YouTube channel Pixiwoo, which took off quickly thanks to the sister’s undeniable talent and natural charisma.
