FCUK

Stephen Marks founded the French Connection fashion label in London in 1972, and gradually built up a reputation as a manufacturer of stylish clothing and accessories. However, it was the rebranding of the label to FCUK in 1997 that established it as a household name.

The label caused controversy by producing clothing items bearing the new FCUK brand name, more than playing up to its uncanny similarity to a well known swear word. In recent years FCUK has expanded its collection to include fragrances, perfume and other toiletry products, such as body sprays.
