As Senior Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a social and content strategy, working in partnership with the Social Media Executive to drive new customer acquisition and increase brand awareness. The development of existing and new social media channels continues to be at the forefront of our digital strategy, and the creation of a relevant and engaging content plan will be key to social campaigns and the FD blog. The role will report to the Marketing Manager and be based in the company’s Macclesfield Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement organic and paid strategy across all social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

• Create and implement a content plan that feeds into social campaigns, working with the SEO agency to incorporate trends and insights, further enhancing FD’s organic offering and backlink profile.

• Drive new customer acquisition and brand awareness through social media and outreach channels, aiming to hit KPI objectives set by the wider business.

• Monitor budgets closely across all channels, in order to hit commercial targets, set by the wider business and achieve maximum ROI.

• Update the FD blog with relevant and engaging content, writing blog posts and sharing this on the relevant social channels.

• Work with influencers on campaign and supplier activity.

• Be the primary contact for external suppliers regarding social media opportunities, developing and maintaining strong relationships with them.

• Attend supplier events, obtaining content to utilise on the relevant social channels.

• Writing copy for the website when required, including brand, range and product copy.

• Produce reports for internal communication and with external suppliers.

• Content creation for the FD App.

We’re looking for a creative and ambitious individual with relevant experience.

• Educated to degree level.

• At least 2 years’ experience, ideally in ecommerce (either agency or client-side)

• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

• Experience of content creation and copy writing.

Primarily the role will be responsible for helping to ensure the websites achieve their revenue and profit goals through the coordination of the merchandise categories, products and content of the websites.

The role will provide an excellent platform for someone looking to develop their commercial acumen within a fast-moving marketing and trading environment. Based in our Macclesfield Head Office, the role will report to the Ecommerce Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• To help drive forward the overall financial performance of each country website.

• Maintain product and category content to ensure it is complete, accurate and the featured benefits of individual products are compelling to customers.

• Ensure that all product lines are merchandised effectively, liaising with the relevant teams to ensure there are sufficient stock levels to support the marketing plans.

• Work with the marketing team to ensure website pages are correctly optimised for SEO, including meta data, relevant in-page links and effective copy.

• Work on the platform and with the graphic design team to upload graphic content.

• Continually work with the Buying Team to increase the number and quality of the ranges promoted on the regional sites to maximise sales and margin opportunities.

• Actively merchandise products to maximise the opportunity for up sell and cross sell revenues.

• Monitor customer feedback, consumer trends and competitor activity/pricing ensuring the information is included in all buying/merchandising decision making.

• Analyse range/product performance to identify opportunities for growth and where appropriate take relevant action.

Candidate Overview

• The successful candidate must be a native speaker of the country site they are working on, or completely fluent and experience in a working environment.

• We’re looking for an ambitious individual who can demonstrate a real passion for the sector.

• The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level.

• Strong analytical skills and an interest in working in a results orientated role are key.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
