Edmond 'Ted' Lapidus was a French designer, son of a Russian tailor, he was considered the inventor of Unisex fashion after introducing Military and Safari looks into Haute Couture. Ted Lapidus' label was started in 1951 and gained credit in the 1960s after Brigitte Bardot and Alain Delon were picture wearing his creations. In 1989 Oliver Lapidus, Ted Lapidus' son, took over the Lapidus label and now it is famous for it's fashion accessories and fragrances. The Lapidus range of fragrances includes Ted Lapidus homme, Altamir, TL pour Lui, TL pour Elle, Black Soul and Creation.
