In 1924, brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler opened the Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory in their home town in the Bavaria region of Germany. Their reputation amongst sportsmen in particular skyrocketed when US sprinter Jesse Owens wore a pair of their spikes during the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. The brothers’ relationship strained during WW2, and in 1948 the pair split and formed their own businesses; Adolf naming his brand Adidas, and Rudolf forming what is now known as Puma. Today, the Puma brand retails in more than 80 countries around the world, producing everything from sportswear to fragrances. The Puma product collection here at Fragrance Direct includes fragrances, body sprays and toiletries for both men and women.
