Nino Cerruti

Born in Italy in 1930, Nino Cerruti became head of the family textiles business after his father’s untimely death in the 50s. Using his experience of producing top quality fabrics, Nino decided to branch out into the clothing market, producing his first collection, Hitman, in 1957. Ten years later he established a menswear and womenswear line, and opened his own boutique in Paris. Today the Nino Cerruti retails via 1500 vendors worldwide, and has a collection of boutiques across Europe, Asia and the USA. Nino Cerruti also produces a range of men’s and women’s fragrances, many of which encorporate the number 1881 into the title; the year in which Nino’s grandfather established the family textile mill in Italy. The Nino Cerruti product range at Fragrance Direct includes a collection of eau de toilette and eau de parfum sprays, aftershaves, deodorants, body moisturisers and bathing products.
