Matthew Williamson

British designer Matthew Williamson was born in Manchester in 1971, and studied at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design before launching his own luxury fashion label in 1997. In the same year his debut collection Electric Angels was showcased at London Fashion Week; his bright colours and intricate designs, modelled by Kate Moss and Helena Christensen, cemented his reputation as an exciting British designer. The flagship Matthew Williamson store was opened in Mayfair, London in 2004, and the label now retails right across the globe, with other flagship stores in New York and Dubai. The first fragrance was launched in 2005, and the Matthew Williamson collection at Fragrance Direct currently includes a selection of eau de toilette and eau de parfum sprays for women, from the signature Matthew Williamson scent, to Sheer and Incense.
