Considered the 'Father of Haute Couture' Charles Worth was born in the UK in 1825. In 1858 he started his own label after being financed by Otto Bobergh and soon had a loyal clientele including French Empress Eugénie, and the famous socialite Cora Pearl. He closed the label during the Franco-Prussia war but re-opened afterwards as The House of Worth. Je Reviens was by far the most famous fragrance to be released by the label in 1932 and is now acclaimed to be an enduring, classic fragrance that captures the romance and elegance of 1930's Paris.
