Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney was always destined to be in the spotlight, with the Beatle Paul McCartney as her father. Born in London in 1971, Stella spent much of her childhood travelling the world with her father and his post Beatles band, Wings. She had always intended to pursue a career in fashion, designing her first jacket aged 13, and achieved instant notoriety with her graduation show at Central St Martins by having best friends Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Yasmin le Bon model for her. She then went on to work as a designer for Chloe and Gucci before starting her own high end fashion label in 2001. Her first perfume, Stella, launched successfully in September 2003, and the Stella McCartney fragrance collection now includes a host of scents and toiletries.
