The Prada brand began in Milan, Italy in 1913, founded by the Prada brothers Mario and Fratelli, with the intention of producing stylish leather goods and important English trunks. Mario famously believed that women had no place in business, but upon his death in 1958, his son expressed no interest in looking after the company, and so his daughter Luisa took control. However, it was when her daughter Muiccia inherited the company in 1978 that the Prada label began to flourish as a high fashion brand. The classic Prada handbag became an instant hit when it was launched in 1985, and the Prada brand now has high end boutiques all over the world. The range of Prada fragrances includes Infusion, Prada Amber, Prada Amber Intense and Prada Tendre. The range also includes bathing products, deodorants and body moisturisers.
