Davidoff

Zino Davidoff was born in Kiev in 1906, but fled to Geneva with his family five years later to escape the political turmoil. His parents opened a tobacconist shop in Geneva, and Zino travelled to Latin America when he left school to learn about the tobacco trade. He took over his parents’ shop when he returned in 1930, and helped turn it into a rich business as Switzerland escaped much of the havoc of World War 2, making it a top attraction for wealthy tobacco customers. Today, the Davidoff brand also produces a range of otherproducts, such as fragrances and toiletries, including the most famous scent, Cool Water.
