Baldessarini

Hugo Boss established his self-titled fashion brand from his home town of Metzingen, just outside Stuttgart in Germany, in 1924. The brand was hit with early troubles, with Hugo Boss having to claim bankruptcy in the early 1930s. Hugo was left with six sewing machines with which to try and rebuild his fashion brand. Today, the Hugo Boss brand retails from over 6000 points of sale, in 110 countries across the globe.

The modern day Hugo Boss brand is predominantly split into two core brands, Hugo and Boss, but also encompasses the Baldessarini branch of sleek, ultra-modern fashion. Baldessarini is a fashion choice that absorbs the contemporary man with an intense desire for the exotic, as well as a sense of voyage and fantasy.

Named after Werner Baldessarini, a former chairman of the Hugo Boss brand, Baldessarini is described as a brand for “the man who knows the finest things in life”. A man who embraces the Baldessarini brand is a man who is aware that he does not have to show off in order to experience refined luxury.
