Hugo Boss established his Hugo Boss fashion brand in Germany in 1924, in the small town of Metzingen near Stuttgart, where the brand is still based to this day. Today, the Hugo Boss brand has been split into two core brands, Hugo and Boss. Described as the progressive, trendy arm of the Hugo Boss brand, Hugo was launched in the 1990s and produces clean, innovative collections for men and women that embrace sophisticated, minimalist designs. This approach is also adapted for the stunning array of fragrances also present in the Hugo line. The Hugo fragrance collection includes Hugo and Hugo Woman, Hugo XX and XY, and Hugo Element, amongst others.
