Hugo Boss

Hugo Boss established his Hugo Boss fashion brand in Germany in 1924, in the small town of Metzingen near Stuttgart, where the brand is still based to this day. Having overcome bankruptcy in the early 1930s, which left Hugo Boss with just six sewing machines in order to start his fashion brand over, the Hugo Boss brand today retails in 110 countries around the world, with over 6000 points of sale.

Today, the Hugo Boss brand has been split into two core brands, Hugo and Boss, as well as the Baldessarini branch, which is named after Werner Baldessarini, the former chairman of the Hugo Boss brand.

Described as the “progressive, trendy” arm of the Hugo Boss brand, Hugo has established itself on the back of its “avant-garde” approach to design. Hugo produces clean, innovative collections for men and women that embrace sophisticated, minimalist designs. This approach is also adapted for Hugo’s stunning array of fragrances.

The Hugo fragrance line includes Hugo and Hugo Woman, Hugo XX and XY, and Hugo Element, amongst others. There is also a range of aftershaves for men, and other toiletries, available from the Hugo branch of the Hugo Boss collection.
