Who doesn't want to look like some sort of bronzed, beach babe? This look is sure to be hot (pun intended) this summer, and thankfully it's so simple to re-create in your own home. All we're missing now is that tropical island..any takers?

Start by prepping damp, clean hair with the a good quality heat protectant spray (Montibelo HD Thermic Heat Protecting Spray), then follow up with your favourite styling cream. Steph is using the Milk Shake Styling Potion to help combat frizz and keep her locks smooth, sleek and protected. Work the product into the ends of the hair.

Next it's time to add that surfer girl vibe using the Catwalk by Tigi Salt Spray. Salt sprays can sometimes dry out the hair, which is why it's so important to prep your locks before hand! Spray that salt all over your tresses, paying extra attention to the roots of the hair. Next, simply blast your hair with a hair dryer to give your hair that 'lived-in' vibe.

Now it's time for the makeup. To help give you more of a beach glow we recommend using a BB Cream of lightweight foundation one shade darker than your natural skin tone. Steph is using the Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream as it contains a light SPF and blends into the skin beautifully. To perfect your look further, apply the Max Factor Mastertouch concealer to blemishes and dark circles. Remember, this look isn't about being perfect and polished, so feel free to skip this step entirely if you're happy with the coverage from your base!

Next it's time to add a little structure to the face. To do this, Steph is using the darker shade in the Clarins Bronzing Duo. Apply it in the contours of the cheeks and down the neck to help keep the makeup looking natural and seamless. For a more shimmery glow, opt for the Rummel Sun Shimmer bronzer. Since this is such a pigmented product, be sure to use it sparingly. Dust it lightly over your cheeks and nose for a realistic 'I've been laying out on the beach all day' look. Lightly apply the bronzing powder to your lids and lash line for a more sultry, smokey finish.

Still want more glow? Try applying the Body Collection Bronzing Highlighter over the high points of the face. Steph likes to use it in the corners of her eyes, down her nose and on her cupid's bow. Why? Just check out the finished result! It pretty much takes you from beach bum to beach babe in five seconds flat.

If you're looking for more of a day-time makeup look, try using the L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara in brown. The natural brown colour will give you a 'your lashes but better' effect. To complete the look, simply add your favourite coral-toned gloss for a slight pop of colour, grab your surfboard and get to the beach!
