Hugo Boss established his Hugo Boss fashion brand in Germany in 1924, in the small town of Metzingen near Stuttgart, where the brand is still based to this day. Today, the Hugo Boss brand has been split into two core brands, Hugo and Boss. Launched throughout the late 90s and 2000s, Boss is known for producing modern yet classic clothing lines for both men and women, with a number of spin off lines that include the bohemian inspired Boss Orange, golf influenced collection Boss Green, and the Boss Selection brand that produced classic English tailoring aimed at the mature market.
