When Alexander McQueen tragically passed away in February 2010, he left a void in the British fashion industry that will never be filled. Having started his career as a tailor on London’s Saville Row, he went on to become head designer at Givenchy, before launching his own label and being crowned “British Designer of the Year” no less than four times.
