Stella McCartney

Born and raised in London, Stella McCartney achieved instant fame with her graduation show at Central St Martins by having best friends Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Yasmin le Bon model for her. A strict vegetarian, she refuses to use fur or leather in her designs. After a 4 year stint as Chief Designer for Chloe, McCartney joined Gucci to start her own label 'Stella McCartney' as a joint venture. Her first perfume, “Stella,” launched successfully in September 2003. In September 2006, “Stella In Two,” a new interpretation of her successful fragrance “Stella” introduced a new way to customize fragrance by splitting the notes of the original fragrance into the liquid Peony and the solid perfume, Amber, which can either be worn alone or layered.
