Liz Claiborne

Born in Brussels to American parents in 1929, Liz Claiborne studied art in studios across Europe before moving to New York City aged 20 to work in the Garment District as a designer. Eventually Liz became frustrated at the lack of clothing aimed at the working woman, so in 1976 she founded her own fashion label, Liz Claiborne Inc. By 1988 the company had acquired a third of the women’s upscale sportswear market in America, and Liz Claiborne Inc. continues to be a success today. The Liz Claiborne collection at Fragrance Direct has a range of men’s and women’s fragrances, including eau de toilette, eau de cologne and eau de parfum sprays.
