The perfume for men, simply called Jil Sander was presented in September 2007, paired with the perfume for women, Style, presented in 2006. It was designed by Thierry Wasser in cooperation with Annick Menardo of Firmenich. The top notes bring lavender, sweet fresh bergamot and violet, the heart is wrapped with sage, together with the notes of vetiver and artemisia, while the base introduces accords of blue cedar, myrrh and leather. The bottle was designed by Patrick Veillet, it is of dark blue colour and composed of two cubes.
