Faberge is famed for its jewelled eggs and one such fan was American billionaire Armand Hammer who collected many Faberge pieces during his ventures to communist Russia in the 1920's. A friend of his imported soap and olive oil and at Hammer's suggestion they called the new company "Faberge Inc". Faberge Inc has been responsible for many fragrances but the most famous is Brut, which was at one time the best selling cologne in the world. Faberge has had many famous faces representing it, such as Kevin Keegan, Paul Gascoigne, Roger Moore and Farrah Fawcett. Faberge was acquired by Helen of Troy Ltd in 2003.
