Estee Lauder was founded in 1948 in New York with only 4 products, 'super rich all purpose cream', 'creme pack', 'cleansing oil' and 'skin lotion' Over the next 15 years the range grew and in 1960 they became global, opening a concession in Harrods London. In 1964 Aramis was launched as a grooming company for men, and in 1968 Clinique was introduced.
