Founded in 1985 in Milan, Italy by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabanna, the first boutique was opened in Tokyo, Japan and their London boutique opened in 1999 and sold women's ready-to-wear clothing, knitwear, beachwear, lingerie and accessories. They are known to "make stars look like stars" and have dressed many celebrities such as Madonna, Kylie Mingue and Isabella Rossellini. Their first fragrance "Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme" was launched in 1994.
