In 1904, an amateur perfumer Francois Coty created a scent called La Rose Jacqueminot in a makeshift laboratory at his home in Paris. Today, Coty Inc. is based in New York City, and is the biggest fragrance company in the world. As well as traditional brands like Adidas, Jovan and Exclamation, the company’s stable includes a number of high-profile celebrity fragrances, including Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Sarah Jessica Parker and the Beckhams. The Coty product collection includes fragrances, deodorants, cosmetics, bathing products and gift sets.
