Christian Dior has over 160 boutiques worldwde and its growth seems to stop for no one! Shocking the world with his New Look in 1947 he went on to pioneer the licensing process that many designers partake in today. Licensing out perfumes, stockings and accessories made him a household name even before his death in 1957 when he was succeeded by a little known French designer called Yves Saint Laurent. Dior's first perfume "MIss Dior" was released in 1947 and one of his best known perfumes "Poison" has launched a whole range of scents under the same name such as "Tendre Poison" and "Pure Poison"
