Parisian Gaby Aghion founded the Chloe fashion house in his home town in 1952. At a time when most luxury fashion houses only designed made-to-measure clothing, Chloe launched its first prêt-a-porter (ready-to-wear) collection in 1956, and many designers have since followed, and copied this trend. Famous for the soft elegance of its designs, Chloe has been known to launch the careers of many of today’s top fashion designers; Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney have both worked as head designers for Chloe. The Chloe fragrance range includes Narcisse and Chloe, as well as a range of accompanying toiletries products.
