Calvin Klein Inc started life as a coat shop in New York in 1968 with the collection then expanding into with sportswear, blazers and womens underwear. In 1980 the company had started the back pocket branding on jeans craze that continues to this day, and caused a stir with the famous "Nothing comes between me and my Calvin's" advertising campaign starring a 15 year old Brooke Shields. The company has continued with its controversial advertising campaigns to this day. In the late 1980's he entered the fragrance market with Obsession and Eternity.
